National Card and Letter Writing Month

April is National Card and Letter Writing Month. A whole month to celebrate snail mail! It was started by the United States Postal Service back in 2001 to "raise awareness of the importance and historical significance of card and letter writing.”

Last year I decided to join in on the fun! It was in the beginning of the pandemic and I thought it would be a fun way to reach out to my friends and family, therefore I wrote one letter a day! I hope this year you will join in on the challenge and gear up for a month of happy mail. If a whole month feels daunting, you can challenge yourself to send at least 5 cards for 5 days.

This month I will also be sharing more about my favorite tools to collect addresses, my favorite stationery supplies and a list of people who’d love a card from you!

Now start sending some cards and spread some joy!
